a. Membership Application – Chun Ping Lin (林春萍) and Winnie Lee (李立雲) from
Mandarin congregation are applying for MCCC membership. If you have any
comment, please send it to Rev. John Hua or Rev. Luke Xie by February 7, 2016.
b. The ECB is in the process of forming the 2017-18 Deacon Nomination Committee.
Deacon Irene Cheung will serve as the convener of the committee.
c. Pastor Tim Yuen’s contract as Children’s Pastor has been renewed for a third oneyear
term. The effective date of the contract renewal is January 21, 2016.
d. English Pastoral Hiring Committee – Deacon Guojian Cai will be the Mandarin
Congregation representative in the committee.
e. The ECB is in the process of forming the 2016 Canada Day Community Outreach
Organizing Committee. The convener and Cantonese deacon representative will
be Deacon Sam Watt. The Mandarin deacon representative will be Deacon
Guojian Cai. The English deacon representative will be Wylie Poon.
f. Reminder that the last person leaving the church building must make sure all
rooms on MCCC and GSCC side are empty, turn off all room and hallway lights
and ensure that all the entrance doors are locked.
