ECB News Flash (May 27, 2025)

A. In the 2025 Annual General Meeting on May 25, 2025, 171 out of 255 (67.05%) church members voted and all motions were passed.

B. Praise God for providing us with three wonderful summer interns this year: Richard Jiang (江礼章) and Ryan Luk (陸智琛) who will work from June 16 to August 8, and Celine Ye Cao (葉桐桐) who will work from June 30 to August 8, 2025. Richard and Ryan are both hired under the Canada Summer Jobs grant.

C. Canada Day Community Outreach – The annual Canada Day Community Outreach Event will be returning to MCCC on July 1st between 11am and 2pm. There will be giveaway snacks, stage performances, fun activities, booth games organized by all congregations, and prayers for Canada. Brothers and sisters are encouraged to invite your neighbours and friends to attend.

D. Membership Application: Jialiang (Jeffrey) Zhu (朱家良) from the English congregation has submitted a church membership application. If you have any comments, please contact Rev Vincent Lee before June 8th, 2025. Lin En Pan (潘林恩) from the Mandarin congregation has submitted a church membership application.
