ECB news flash (February 24):

A. After three years of faithful service at MCCC and a positive pastoral review, the ECB is pleased to share that Pastor Katherine will transition from a contract position to a long-term role as Mandarin Associate Pastor, effective March 1, 2026. We thank God for her dedication and look forward to her continued ministry among us.

B. Pastor Josiah’s potential ordination date will be on April 18 at 1:30 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Community Church sanctuary. Please save your time to witness and celebrate this important event of our church.

C. The nominated deacon candidates for 2027-2028 have been approved and the congregational pastors will contact the nominees for their intentions to stand for election.

D. Our custodian, Bill Zhang, will be off on March 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 20, 22, 23, and 24, 2026. During this time, an external cleaning company will clean the church on two days a week. We kindly ask all brothers and sisters to help keep our church clean. Thank you for your cooperation and efforts.

E. The joint Easter baptismal service will be on Saturday April 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Community Church. Please speak to your pastors if you are interested in getting baptized.
