1/ 2015-2016 Deacons Election Results: 56.2% of all MCCC members
voted in the deacons election. Ophelia Lau, Irene Cheung, Rossana
Wong, Gary Dong, Sheila Xu and Wylie Poon have all been
accepted as MCCC deacons for 2015-2016.
2/ Membership Application: Kinson Chan ( 陳建生) from Mandarin
Congregation is applying for membership. If you have any
comment, please send it to Rev. John Hua before Oct. 5th, 2014.
3/ Church Parking: Attendees of Cantonese AM worship and English
worship are reminded to be considerate of those attending later
worship services by leaving parking spots for them in the parking
lot. If possible, please park on the north side of Bamburgh Circle or
in the shopping plaza across the street. Thank you for your
cooperation.
4/ Borrowing Church Equipment and Musical Instruments: Brothers
and sisters wishing to borrow equipment from the church should
make note of the following guidelines:
– Church equipment and instruments should only be borrowed for
church ministry purposes only.
– If church equipment and instruments are to be used outside of
church property, please inform the church office in advance and
fill out an equipment borrowing form.
– If church equipment/instruments are borrowed on weekends or
Sundays, be careful to leave sufficient equipment/instrument at
church for other worship services to use.
5/ MCCC English Name Change & Mandarin PM Service 2nd
Anniversary Thanksgiving Celebration: MCCC will celebrate the
changing of our English name to “Milliken Christian Community
Church” on Sunday, October 12 (Thanksgiving long weekend). A
special celebration luncheon will be held in the GSCC Fellowship
Hall at 12:45 pm. Luncheon tickets will be sold for $5 on Oct. 5.
