a. Church Leadership Training: It will be held on Saturday, April 18
between 9:00am and 12:30pm. The speaker will be Rev. Terence Lau.
All current deacons, congregational ministry committee members,
fellowship committee members/coordinators, group leaders, Sunday
school teachers and those who want to serve in leadership position are
encouraged to attend. Registration starts today until April 12th.
Please register with your congregation pastors.
b. News Flash – Minutes for March 15, 2015
1/ ESL – Brothers and sisters are encouraged to come to church
at 11:00am on Saturdays with ESL classes to talk to ESL students
and invite them to join MCCC’s community programs, fellowships
and Sunday worship. For more information please contact Rev. Lee.
2/ 2015 ECB retreat has been scheduled for September 18-19 (Friday-
Saturday) at the Salvation Army Jackson Point Conference Centre.
3/ MCCC will be contributing to the construction of the John Kao
Global Leadership Study Centre at Tyndale Seminary & University.
A special offering will be collected on Sunday, June 7 to contribute
to the construction funding.
4/ Finance
– The Church Treasurer has created an Organizational Chart
showing the people required to sign each kind of reimbursement
claim. For more information please contact Deacon Sam Watt.
– Each person who approves and signs the reimbursement claim
form should print their name and date next to their signature.
5/ A workshop will be held in June (date TBD), led by Rev. Lee, to
discuss the new Ontario Sex Education Curriculum. All parents are
welcome to attend.
