ECB News Flash (May 17, 2022)
A. May 15 Membership Meeting Voting Result – 151 members voted in the membership meeting, representing 63.71% of the church membership. All agenda items have been approved in the membership meeting:
a. Approval of 2021 audited financial statement.
b. Appointment of Stephen P.F. Chui as public accountant for preparing 2022 church audited financial statement.
c. Approval of 2021 MCCC Annual Report.
d. Election of Irene Cheung, Janny Wan and Frank Zhu to be 2023-34 deacons have been approved.
Thanks to all brothers and sisters for your participating in this new voting experience.

B. Canada Day Community Outreach – The annual Canada Day Community Outreach event will be returning to MCCC on July 1st between 11:00am and 2:00pm. There will be giveaways of prepackaged snacks, booth games organized by all congregations, prayers for Canada, and stage performances. Brothers and sisters are encouraged to invite your neighbours and friends to attend.

C. Softball Ministry – MCCC has a softball team participating in the 2022 season of the Toronto Christian Sports Association (TCSA) with players from all 3 congregations. The team will be playing at various parks in Markham during the summer, starting from May 29. Brothers and sisters are invited to cheer them on at the games.
