ECB Flash news: (Feb 21, 2023)
A. ECB has reinstated Ivy Siu, Torrey Phua, and Eileen Chang’s church membership as of February 21 in response to their written intent. They were church members in the past before they went abroad. We are delighted and thankful to have them back.
B. The nominated deacon candidates for 2024-2025 have been approved and the congregational pastors will contact the nominees for their intentions to stand for election.
C. MCCC will adopt outer Mongolia pastors and church leader’s training through CCCOWE Canada.
D. Good Friday service will be on Friday April 7 at 10:30 a.m. for Mandarin and English congregations, and at 2 p.m. for Cantonese congregation.
E. The joint Easter baptismal service will be on Saturday April 8 at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Community Church.
F. Membership Application: Mandarin Congregation – Julie Weng (翁鴿), Jimmy Yu (于厚軍), Yu Mei Li (李玉梅), Ya Ling Guo (郭雅玲) are applying for membership. If you have any comments, please contact Rev. Luke Xie before March 12th, 2023.
