a. Celebrate Canada: This is a community outreach program co-hosted by Milliken
CCC and Good Shepherd CC and will be held in the church parking lot and
premises on July 1st from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm. Programs include outdoor worship
& prayer, music and singing performances, health info and seminars, and game
booths. Also, the event will give out free hot dogs while quantities last. Please
invite your family and friends to attend. For those who will come to this event,
please park your vehicles on streets near our church and follow the parking
regulations set by City of Toronto.
b. Membership Application – We like to welcome Chia Mei Kok (郭嘉鎂) from
Mandarin congregation as member of MCCC. Pray that she will continue to grow
in the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ, and will bear much fruit for the glory
of God.
c. Church Parking: Brothers and sisters attending worship on Sunday at MCCC
are advised to use only the 3 rows of parking of the north side. The south side of
the parking lot is reserved for Good Shepherd Community Church on
Sunday morning.
d. News Flash (Minutes for June 12th, 2016):
1/GSCC has indicated that brothers and sisters of MCCC might not offer help or
assistance to any renting parties using their facilities and that they should be
directed to get help from GSCC instead.
2/ Church Leadership and Ministry Training (July 9) – It is from 8:30 am to 12:00
pm. Breakfast will be provided. The speaker is Rev. Warren Lai. To register,
please contact Deacon Irene Cheung (Cantonese Congregation), Rev. John
Hua (Mandarin Congregation) or Deacon Wylie Poon (English Congregation).
3/ The Thunder Bay STM Team will be holding a fundraising sale on Sunday, July
24. Money raised will be used to help subsidize First Nations children from lowincome
families to attend summer camps held in Northern Ontario.
4/ The Myanmar STM Team led by Pastor Teresa Tong will be holding a
fundraising sale on Sunday, October 30 in the church basement.
