ECB News Flash (July 19, 2022)
a. MCCC COVID guidelines update:
 i) Attendees of Sunday Worship and other church activities are
 recommended to continue wearing face masks, but the wearing
 of face masks is not mandatory.
 ii) Persons who have COVID symptoms or are feeling unwell
 should stay home and not come to church.
 iii) Persons self-isolating according to government guidelines (such
 as recovering from COVID or exposed to someone who has
 COVID) should stay home and not come to church; while
 persons who are required by government guidelines to wear a
 mask in all public settings must wear a mask when at church or
 participating in church activities. 
b. MCCC will be holding a special 35th Anniversary celebration
 Joint Baptismal Service on Saturday, August 6 at 10:30am in the
 Good Shepherd sanctuary. Brothers and sisters from all 3
 congregations will be receiving baptism. Brothers and sisters are
 encouraged to come out in person to show your support for our
 candidates.
 c. Missions:
 The ECB has approved the distribution of the ACEM
 Missions Fund rebate to MCCC as follows:
 – Derek and Chantel Chen – $1,500
 – Colin McCartney (Refugee camp) – $1,500
 – Hudson Taylor Centre (Tyndale University) – $1,500
 – Xiaodan Gang – $1,500
 – Northwind Family Ministries (Thunder Bay) – $1,500
 – Bible League Canada (Africa Bible Placement Program) –
 $2,300
– Rev & Mrs. Luke Goh (subsidy for short term mission trip) –
 $2,000
 The ECB has approved MCCC’s adoption of 3 additional
 missionaries/organizations for funding from the 2023
 ACEM Mission Budget:
 – Bible League Canada
 – Ju Hong (鞠紅) at TWR Canada
 – Toronto Short Term Mission Centre
